Colleagues,
Please consider this notification that a fire drill is planned for Bldg. 7000 on Wednesday, June 2, 2021. If you see residents evacuating the building or observe the alarm going off during that day, please do not be alarmed and do not call 911.
Additionally, the Shoreline Fire Department and partnering agencies will be on campus for a large Mass Casualty Incident training exercise the morning and afternoon of June 3, 4, 7, 8, 10, 11, 14, and 15. There will be no disruption to campus operations, however, it is possible you may observe numerous emergency personnel and apparatus around Bldg. 2000. There will be simulated wounded people being evacuated and triaged during the exercise.
Please note, special care has been taken to avoid any disruption to the Parent Child Center. No sirens or horns will be used, there will be no sounds of distress, and a visual barricade will be constructed between the exercise and the play areas and windows of the Parent Child Center.
If you have any questions, please contact me at gcranson@shoreline.edu.
Respectfully,
Gregory Cranson
Acting Director of Safety & Security
