Message from President Roberts: Labor Day Holiday

Dear Colleague,

On Labor Day, we honor the role our workforce plays in supporting the economic and social well-being of our country. As we celebrate Labor Day this weekend with family and friends, I want to recognize each of you for the amazing things you do for the students you serve and teach and all that you bring to our vibrant campus.

I hope you will be able to take a moment to relax and remember with pride all the accomplishments you’ve achieved. And, I look forward to the good work we will create together in this coming academic year.

With warm regards,

Cheryl Roberts, Ed.D.

President

Annual fire safety alarm testing 8/28-9/1

Please note: Required annual fire safety alarm testing will begin August 28 and run through September 1. During the week, you may see Tyco Simplex Grinnell technicians in your building or hear an occasional alarm sound. The alarms are being monitored and should quickly cease.

We are required by law to test all fire alarm systems on an annual basis and we apologize in advance for any disruption. We test this time of year, between quarters, to minimize the amount of disruption as much as possible.

If you have questions about this safety practice, please contact Security at 206-546-4633.
