  • On March 1, 2022, King County will end the vaccine verification requirement for entry into indoor recreational settings.  New COVID-19 cases are on the decline in our county and over 87% of King County residents over age 12 are fully vaccinated.

  • COVID-19 vaccine clinic on our campus closed Wednesday, February 16th

NOTICE OF VIRTUAL SPECIAL MEETING

The Shoreline Community College Board of Trustees will hold a second special meeting on Thursday, February 17, 2022 (“February 17, 2022 special meeting #2”), commencing at 5:30 PM. (No study session is scheduled to precede the 5:30 PM meeting.) The business to be transacted in this meeting is/will be posted to https://www.shoreline.edu/about-shoreline/board/meeting-packets-2018.aspx. The February 17, 2022 special meeting #2 will be recorded and the video, available, when Board materials are posted for the next regular meeting, scheduled for March 16, 2022.

The agenda for the February 17, 2022 special meeting #2 includes the Board’s usual regular meeting agenda. Due to COVID-19, Governor Inslee’s restriction on in-person public meetings, continues. Therefore, access to this meeting will take place in a virtual space. To comply with open meeting notice requirements, the previously scheduled regular meeting at the campus is canceled and a virtual special meeting is being added.

All Board of Trustees meetings include opportunity for public comment. Due to the continual and changing information related to COVID-19, the February 17, 2022 special meeting #2 will be held virtually. Public comment(s) during the February 17, 2022 special meeting #2 Communication from the Public segment will be presented to the Board verbally.

• For attendees connecting online: Please sign up to provide a public comment via the Chat function in Zoom between 5:15 PM – 5:30 PM on February 17, 2022.

• For attendees connecting by telephone: Please sign up to provide a public comment between 5:15 PM – 5:30 PM on February 17, 2022 by: 1. Sending an email to Board Secretary Lori Yonemitsu at lyonemitsu@shoreline.edu with your telephone number and name (optional); or 2. The meeting host will move individuals signed up to provide public comment to the panelist screen and the Board Chair will call upon speakers. The total public comment period at the February 17, 2022 special meeting #2 will be no more than thirty (30) minutes with up to two (2) minutes allotted per speaker. Adjustments to the two (2) minute allotment will be made if more than fifteen (15) individuals sign up to speak. (For the entering of a public comment into the record and attaching to the minutes of the February 17, 2022 special meeting #2, please send written public comment to Board Secretary Lori Yonemitsu at lyonemitsu@shoreline.edu following the February 17, 2022 special meeting #2.)

NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING CANCELLATION

The in-person regular meeting scheduled for 4:30 PM on February 17, 2022 in room 1010M-building 1000, is canceled. Per the notice above, that meeting is being rescheduled as a virtual special meeting.

Spring quarter at Shoreline Community College begins on April 4th. Between February 14 – March 13 you can join us at one of the local events below to learn about our programs, ask questions, and get help completing your application on the spot!

We are one more week closer to our live launch for ctcLink! Below you can find important dates and other information about the transition that matters most to you!

  • Feb 15th: Last timesheet submission in TLR for Feb 1-15 time period – Timesheets for Feb 16-28 will be submitted in ctcLink after go-live. More information on this to come. 
  • February 21st: Holiday, campus is closed. 
  • March 7th: Students will be asked to activate their student ctcLink accounts.

Training Sessions:  

Training sessions are designed for faculty and staff who have not yet been involved in the ctcLink project by providing general information about the project, the timeline, and available support mechanisms. All sessions are recorded, and you can view them on our ctcLink SharePoint site

Next training date: Stop in to get your questions answers. Main topics for this session will be ctcLink ID Activation, Time Reporting, and Approvals — as timesheets are due on March 1, 2022.
