A wave of gratitude to Jocelyn Ramos!-SHOUT out to Jocelyn for doing an AMAZING job for the Parent Center. She has held the families and staff together. She has continued to build a strong structure of support and community among all of us. Jocelyn continues to uplift and keep the staff calm with word of encouragement. Jocelyn has been our very own beacon of light and we are so THANKFUL for all she does for the center.

A wave of gratitude to Jocelyn Ramos!-She runs parent-child care and somehow manages 3 jobs and I never saw her angry or being mad at somebody.

A wave of gratitude to Jocelyn Ramos!-Jocelyn an example of extraordinary work performance during COVID time. She held all communications and duties of three people in one for parent-child center. Her amazing strength and kindness in supporting all of us, coworkers and families is amazing!

A wave of gratitude to Jocelyn Ramos!-Jocelyn is great! Having to do the job of 3 people. keeping up with the college demands of being a supervisor, keeping the staff calm, up-to-date on what is happening and on track and always does this with a positive attitude and smile on her face. I really appreciate all that she does and enjoy working with her.

A wave of gratitude to Jocelyn Ramos!-Jocelyn Ramos is the Program specialist 4 for the Parent Child Center, she is in charge of everything right now because we don’t have a director or anybody else. She works very hard and always make sure the teachers, children and parents are safe and happy.

A wave of gratitude to Jocelyn Ramos!-In the midst of this crisis, Jocelyn has been a steadfast leader. She has so much on her plate yet she consistently has been available to support me (and the rest of the PCC staff) through it all.

Greetings!

Microsoft Teams is part of Office 365 and is a great way for staff to communicate and collaborate. It includes Chat as well as Audio & Video Calls plus File Sharing. You can view recorded videos on how to utilize this tool.

Dr. Herrera returns as VP for Students, Equity & Success

As of March 30, Dr. Marisa Herrera has returned to her position as Vice President for Students, Equity & Success.

We welcome Dr. Herrera back and want to thank Derek Levy for his dedication and commitment to support the Students, Equity & Success Division during her absence.

They spent their Friday evening getting information posted to the Testing Center’s website so students could access the new remote proctor option for the math assessment. You really went above and beyond to help our students! Thank you!

A Wave of gratitude for Fabian! Fabian (Students Equity & Success ) has done an incredible job of leading the Benefits Hub! In the face of remote work, he advocated to stay open as long as possible so students could still eat. Now that he has to be home, he helped move the food pantry into the Residence Hall so those students could have access to food. He is constantly thinking of innovative ways to help folks during this difficult time!

A Wave of gratitude to Derek Levy! Thank you to Derek for his excellent job at stepping into a new role and taking on a huge job during this emergency, all the while still supporting his direct reports in the amazing way that he always does. Derek has been pivotal during this time of uncertainty and his work has been admirable.

A Wave of gratitude to Derek Levy! Derek (Student Equity & Success) did an amazing job of filling in as Acting VP these past couple months. He made thoughtful decisions in the face of a pandemic, putting the welfare of the students and staff above everything else. Even with his increased workload, he still checked in with his direct reports consistently, showing the same attention and support to each of us. Thank you, Derek!!
