9th Annual Einstein Middle School Campus Tour
9th Annual Einstein Middle School Campus Tour
375 (yes, 375!) 8th graders from our local middle school, along with 30 teachers and parents will experience our beautiful campus and programs during a tour on Friday morning at 9:15 a.m. They’re only here for an hour, so it’s a fun, quick whirlwind view of our College, followed by a visit to UW. The principal tells us that the teachers and students love this tour, even more than UW.
It’s amazing how many local high school students visit our campus throughout their elementary and middle school years (for Math Olympiad, STEM Festival, the Einstein trip), and then enroll here as college students.
Say hi to this crowd of 8th graders Friday morning if you have an opportunity! If you have questions, please contact Amy Stapleton (astaplet@shoreline.edu, ext. 7841).
Staff Parking Lot (adjacent to building 1400): Closed on Friday, March 29 for Repaving Work
The small staff parking lot adjacent to building 1400 will be closed all day on Friday, March 29, 2019 for repaving. Work will include the resurfacing of the lot, striping of stalls, as well as creating an accessible path from the west parking lots.
The lot is expected to be reopened the morning of Monday, April 1.
While we have timed this for a Friday during the break to minimize the impact to our campus community and neighbors, noise and odor result from paving work. While the noise and odor are anticipated to be minimal, should you require a temporary relocation or any other accommodation, please contact Human Resources at (206) 546-5880.
Thank you for your patience and support while we work to improve this vital connection into campus.
Sincerely,
Jason Francois
