Message from the Board of Trustees

As we prepare for the April on-campus visits by the four Presidential Finalists, I would like to convey the Board’s appreciation to the members of the Presidential Search Screening Committee (PSSC), Vice President for Human Resources & Legal Affairs Stephen Smith, ACCT Search Consultant Laura Saunders, and to Dr. Ernest Johnson and Dr. Yvonne Terrell-Powell for providing training on Multicultural Competencies as well as on Cognitive Errors in relation to the Presidential Search.
The Trustees sincerely appreciate the input the Board has received thus far related to the Presidential Search and encourage members of the SCC Community to continue to provide feedback to the Board.  An email box has been set-up to receive input on the Presidential Search and the Presidential Finalists.  This box is only accessible by Trustees Barrett, D’Ambrosio, Lux, Washburn and Chair Shoubee Liaw and will be available until 3:00 PM on Monday, April 14, 2014.
We look forward to hearing from you.
