The Servant of Two Masters, written by Carlo Goldoni in 1743, was an attempt at reviving Comedia dell’arte by scripting the dialogue and still leaving room for improvisation. The play focuses on a simple-minded character named Truffaldino, who brings trouble on himself when he attempts to care for two masters at once without either finding out.

Students often report high levels of stress before finals, which can negatively impact their academic performance as well as their physical and mental health. BREATHE aims to reduce student stress as well as connect students to their Shoreline community. These efforts assist our students in attaining their academic and personal goals.

How does a Shoreline education improve a student’s ability to write effectively
Shoreline’s Learning Outcomes Assessment Steering Committee will continue to tackle this question this summer and fall. We are still in need of samples of student writing assignments. Click here to learn more about how to contribute.

Want to join us on Whidbey?
Part of this exciting assessment project will be evaluating the submitted student work in the context of our general education outcome for written communication. SCC Spring Ensemble Showcase Wed., June 7

Join us for a fun evening of Funk, Fusion, and Jazz featuring a few of our outstanding performance ensembles at Shoreline Community College!

I’ve had the pleasure of teaching music at SCC for the past seven years. It is rewarding to see so many talented students come through the music department who apply their passion for music through hard work and practice. We would be honored to have everyone attend this multi-ensemble showcase this Wednesday night at the Columbia City Theater. Please come out and support some of the brightest, young musicians studying music in the Northwest.
